Phil Hart
"Bringing conservative North Idaho values to the Legislature."

State Representative Phil Hart is a Kootenai County businessman. He owns and operates Alpine Engineering in Hayden, and is a licensed civil and structural engineer in 11 states.

He has one daughter, Sarah, and believes that his greatest role in life is as a father.

Phil holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

He served for 7 years on the Remington Water District Board of Directors, and served as its chairman. He recently completed his first term in the Idaho House of Representatives.

In addition to being active in the political arena, Phil Hart is a competitor on the athletic field and in business. He has competed at the national level in cycling and has won 2 World Cup races.
